Norma Firth

Norma Jean Wise Firth passed away Thursday morning August 9, 2018 in Tremonton, Utah surrounded by family. She was born October 19, 1930 in Garland, Utah to Wallace & Della Wise. She attended elementary school in Garland and graduated from Bear River High School. She attended Utah State University where she was active in the ROTC Sponsor Corps. While at USU she met a handsome young man, who would become the love of her life. She married LeRoy Firth on November 16, 1949 in the Salt Lake Temple. Following their marriage, they started farming in Bothwell, raising crops and children side by side.

They worked hard and played hard, building a strong legacy and happy memories. Norma learned to be an amazing cook, mother, and partner. Everyone was welcome in her home and no one left hungry. She was an active member of The  Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, serving faithfully in Primary, Young Women’s, and Relief Society

Norma’s loving family includes Sherie (Michael) Goade, Tucson, AZ, Alan (Sherry), Kevin (Eileen), and Patti, all of Bothwell, Ken (Janice) Tremonton, Karen (Robert) Wall, Walla Walla, WA, 29 grandchildren, and 24 great-grandchildren. Those waiting in heaven were her parents and brother and sister-in-law, Wallace Keith and Helen Wise.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, August 15, 2018 at 11:00 am at the Bothwell LDS Chapel 10350 W 11600 N, Bothwell. The viewings will be held Tuesday, August 14, 6:00-8:00 pm at Roger & Taylor Funeral home 111 N 100 E, Tremonton, and Wednesday from 9:30-10:45 am at the church. Interment will be in the Bothwell Valley View Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please make memories with your family.
